Three examples of B2B marketing leadership, brand transformation and commercial growth: diagnosing the real problem, aligning people and building momentum.
eEnergy had strong capability but a fragmented story, inherited brands and a lead engine producing around 12 marketing-qualified leads a month.
Unite six acquired businesses behind one brand, proposition and marketing operation.
Secured CEO and Board backing for a single eEnergy brand. Customer insight shaped the Energy-as-a-Service proposition around funding, complexity, confidence and trust. Rebuilt the digital estate, introduced Solar and EV propositions and aligned sales and marketing.
Led account-based campaigns combining events, targeted advertising, content, personalised nurture and sales outreach.
Six brands became one. Annual marketing-qualified leads grew from approximately 150 to 1,200; marketing-attributed proposals reached £55m in FY2025. Research identified eEnergy as the #1 energy services provider in its primary education market by institutions served. It was recognised in the UK Fast Growth 50 Index’s Fastest Growing Green Firms 2025 category.
During my tenure, eEnergy reported £21.8m revenue in H1 2026, more than double the comparable period, boosted by delivery of a major DfE-funded schools programme.
How brand purpose aligned the eEnergy business

Virgin’s global family shared a powerful brand but operated across different sectors, markets and systems.
Strengthen connection and create a secure global brand hub that colleagues would choose to use.
Shaped Virgin Tribe perks and experiences around a shared sense of belonging. Brought that experience to life by rebuilding Virgin’s global brand hub and collaborating globally, including with Virgin Galactic and The Spaceship Company.
Created a stronger shared experience across 64 businesses while protecting brand consistency, community and trust at global scale.

Schneider Electric was bringing broad capabilities together in a new Energy Efficiency Division. The opportunity was significant; the story was complex.
Create a narrative that leadership, teams and customers could understand, believe and use.
Led stakeholder workshops to build a shared direction for the new division. Developed the CSR² strategic narrative, translating complex technical capability into a clear customer and commercial proposition.
Equipped the new division with a coherent market story and a shared language for growth, sustainability and customer value.
